How to Brew a Herbal Tea
You have got your beautiful prescription tea waiting in front of you, ready to go, keen beans but wait… how do I brew it?
Below I’ve included brewing and care instructions for the beautiful new addition to your health care routine.
What do I need to brew?
– A cup, mug or pot (I prefer a pot to get a more intense brew)
– A strainer and plate for cup or mug users
– A kettle
How do I brew my herbal tea?
– Place tea in strainer
– Poor hot water on top
– Steep for 10-15 minutes
– remove tea
– Enjoy
How much tea do I use?
– 1 tsp per cup
– 1 tbsp per mug
– 1 heaped tbsp per pot
How long will iced tea last in the fridge?
– As a general rule 24 hours, up to 36 is okay though
How do I store my herbal tea?
– In an air tight container away from light and heat. The tea will last up to if not more than 1 year.
